I couldn’t have picked a sweeter wedding to kick off our 2018 season with than Erin and Corey’s! Erin has such an incredible eye for detail and design. She planned a stunning wedding in Chapel Hill, NC filled with classic style and rich colors! It was truly a joy to be apart of their day and I’m SO excited to share a peek into their wedding day with you!

I first met Erin and Corey here in Asheville for their engagement session at Craggy Gardens. It didn’t take long to notice how relaxed and outgoing they both were. They are the sweetest couple and truly made my job as their photographer so delightful and easy! They both went to UNC-Chapel Hill and now live in Chicago. Their wedding day started in Raleigh where we met Erin and her bridesmaids as they were getting ready at Erin’s parent’s house. The kitchen was filled with beautiful ladies sharing in good laughter while sipping on champagne, a wonderful team from Wink Hair & Makeup and Panera Bread (the best!). As everyone finished up their final touches Erin put on her dress with the help of her Mom and Sister and we left for Chapel Hill where Erin and Corey had their First Look at the Arboretum. We stopped along the memorable spots such as the Old Well and Kissing Bench in Chapel Hill for a few portraits before walking to the Church. The Church was filled with natural light and truly stunning! Erin & Corey were pronounced husband wife and sealed it with a kiss!

One of my favorite parts of Erin’s timeline was all of the extra time she reserved for portraits post-ceremony. So much that she and Corey were actually able to join their guests for cocktail hour! We visited many locations for portraits – mostly ones that were sentimental to Erin and Corey – and they even had a shuttle arranged to take us everywhere (amazing)! For all of my future brides, planning for a First Look and additional time post-ceremony is possible and why there are A LOT of portraits in this blog post :)!

You guys!! We even made it on a ROOFTOP! Definitely a first in my photography career and it was one for the books! We may have all been freezing and my fingers may have been numb but it was 100% worth it! After cocktail hour the reception began at Top of the Hill. Erin and Corey shared a remarkable choreographed first dance, dinner was served, father-daughter and mother-son dances were shared (always one of my personal favorites), and dancing commenced! Oh, and I can’t forget the Maid of Honor and Best Man speeches – seriously, some of the BEST I’ve heard! Filled with so much love and so many sweet memories! Just when I thought the details of Erin’s wedding couldn’t get any better – they roll out a pizza bar for a late night snack and homemade chocolate chip cookies as favors!

The Bobeck wedding was such a special one and I’m so excited to share it with you on the blog today! We loved working with you, Erin & Corey (Caleb :)) and are so excited for you to begin your journey as husband and wife!
