Today’s post features the most beautiful family in Durham, North Carolina… ok, in the entire Southeast – wait, who am I kidding – in the world!! I may be biased because I love this family dearly but I know you will agree ;)! The Andrusko’s are one of the first families we met right after our move to RDU. They were kind enough to invite us over for dinner and welcome us to our church and new city. It wasn’t long before we were in the same small group, having Friday night game nights, falling in love with their adorable daughter, Aviyah, and hitting up all the best restaurants from their suggestions. Thanks to them we’re addicted to Jubala and RISE — Mitchell and I can’t agree on who makes the best biscuits – (Jubala, duh!!).
We had to re-schedule their family session a couple times due to weather and whataya-know?! Last Sunday was supposed to be the prettiest day of the week and right before their session started the clouds rolled in and the sky was dark – yikes! Elizabeth was ready and up for the challenge so we moved their session to my backyard. Yes, that’s right, my backyard. It’s actually quite pretty back there from a photographers perspective. The tall wheatgrass makes for a gorgeous background!! Plus, this allowed us to have shelter inside our house to avoid the rain. The Andrusko’s were great and super easy-going during the entire session. And Avi… oh, sweet little Avi… she smiles at anything! I can’t even image how cute Norah Elizabeth will be – double the fun – double the cuteness!! We can’t wait to meet her in April! I am in LOVE with every single photo we took – y’all, they can’t take a single bad one!! I’m so excited to share these with you!! Hope you enjoy and Happy Monday!!
