When I’m not photographing extraordinary couples, you can find me playing with my kids (yoga pants not optional), organizing our home, or sipping a smoothie at our favorite juice bar.

Coming out of my blogging hiatus to share some behind the scenes from 2016! This is always one of my favorite posts! I love reflecting back on the year and getting lots of laughs from the collection of photos we’ve saved over the year just for this post! This year was especially fun because it was a year of a growing baby and bump!! Whew, I almost forgot how big that belly of mine got! haha. So, this is us, putting aside our pride and allowing you to come see what life is really like for us at weddings! We leave the house trying to look our best, but those long wedding days – especially in the summer – leave us a hot mess!
I’ve dreamed of turning this room (or any room) into a nursery for our first baby and here we are! I’ve always loved neutral colors and that didn’t change for this room. As my Mama says, “little boys can’t keep white clean!” – oops! Here’s to hoping we keep this room decently clean and surely he can’t mess it up too much the first few months ;). We bought our first house in September 2015 and I’ve LOVED making it a home for us. I absolutely love to decorate and nest! Even before we were pregnant – nesting was my jam!! Most rooms came pretty easy for me but this room was so difficult. I wanted it to be perfect and had the hardest time making decisions.
