This blog post might have broken the record for quickest turnaround ever! Just three days post session and boom, the engagement session is done! That’s the beauty of being completely caught up on editing and work during the off-season :)! It felt so good to kick off the busy season with Hannah and Mitchell on Sunday! I really couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple, better weather or location! We met at the Biltmore Estate and started their session in the gardens. The gardens are an extra special location for Hannah and Mitchell. Mitchell works at his family greenhouse and went to school for Agriculture – he knows so much about flowers and is even helping Hannah with their wedding flowers (what a guy!). The tulips were just starting to peak through so we tried to capture all of the colors that we could! YAY for spring blossoms! We found a beautiful pink tree just as we were leaving!
Next stop was the house and overlook. Sunday is truly the BEST time to shoot at the Biltmore – it’s incredibly peaceful and we pretty much had the entire place to ourselves – which means less photoshopping of people for ME! The wind was calm and the temperature was PERFECT. We took photos until the guard came to tell us they were shutting down! I could’ve taken Hannah and Mitchell’s portraits for hours and hours!! Not only are they incredibly photogenic but they are so fun to be around! I’m even more excited for their June wedding and can’t wait to see her dress (she has the best taste)! I’m obsessed with everything we created and so excited to share this engagement session with you today on the blog! Enjoy!
