Krissy and Matt’s Anniversary, Asheville Photographer

I don’t get the chance to photograph Anniversaries often but I sure hope they come around more!! It’s basically like doing a wedding but only the portrait part and while I love so many aspects of a wedding day, my favorite is definitely portrait time! Krissy is also a photographer and she planned her session SO WELL!! She ordered the most beautiful dress from BHLDN and had a stunning bouquet with loose greenery and long ribbons made from Flora in Asheville. Before her session she had her hair and makeup done by Flawless and she looked just that! All of these things that she put so much thought into really made her portraits pop!! BUT mostly it’s the way her and Matt interact together and snuggle in so effortlessly. Krissy and Matt looked incredible and I LOVE all of the portraits that we were able to capture to celebrate their  5 years of marriage!! I’m so glad they brought their precious babies along, Logan and Mac. They are the sweetest and I think they had a nice time :)! Mac, their little girl, was amazed at the real life “castle” she got to see at Biltmore! She brought her polaroid camera along and savored all 15 photos she could take. At the end of our session she shared the photos with me and they were so beautiful! I loved seeing the world through her little eyes. The way she captured images of her mom and dad and then the castle’s different angles – it was inspiring! She was so proud, as she should’ve been! Logan made my heart melt the moment I saw him! I can’t help but think of our precious Haddon everytime I see a little boy and I imagine what it will be like when he is his age! I could see the mama’s boy in him but also how fun and cool he knows his daddy is! We were able to get some incredible portraits of Krissy and Matt and also some family portraits!! Krissy had one image of her family in mind for their new home (the one of them all on the steps) and it might just be my favorite! Let’s be honest, anytime another photographer is photographing another – I don’t care who you are – it comes with a little extra nerves ;). Krissy is even sweeter and spunkier in person and I’m SO glad she trusted me with such an important season in their lives! They drove up from Raleigh to have portraits at the Biltmore and they knocked them outta the park! Congrats to 5 years and here’s to many, many more!! XOXO
