Hannah and Mitchell’s wedding at Highland Lake Inn was filled with so much love, joy, celebrating, beautiful flowers and alllll the details! We first arrived at Hannah’s childhood home where she and the bridesmaids were getting ready. There is something so delightful about a Bride getting ready in her old room. I love visiting the home and observing all of the pictures on the wall of their families and childhood memories. The getting ready moments are some of the sweetest – everything suddenly becomes real and those moments leading up to leaving for the ceremony can be extra special. Mitchell even had flowers delivered to Hannah that morning – so thoughtful! Mitchell’s family owns a greenhouse and so you can imagine how magnificent the flowers were the entire day! They filled every corner of the church and also the reception! My favorite part of the ceremony was definitely Mitchell’s face as he first saw his Bride. He was clearly smitten and couldn’t hold back the emotions.
After the ceremony, we captured some portraits at the church and made our way to Highland Lake Inn for the reception! The room was filled with greenery and so many pretty details. Succulents were given away as favors (I still have mine in the kitchen!). The dessert bar was out of this world and I know every kid at this wedding couldn’t wait to dig in! The evening continued with some heartfelt speeches (funny memories included) and dancing! I quickly learned that Mitchell was not much of a dancer but by the end of the night they managed to get him on the dance floor ;)! We stepped outside and walked to the lake during sunset for some dreamy portraits – I LOVE when couples are up for sneaking away for 10-15 minutes during this time. The light is golden and it gives them even more portraits in their gallery!
Hannah and Mitchell were so much fun to work with throughout their entire engagement and wedding day! They are easy-going and so kind! Hannah has the best style and it shows throughout her entire wedding! I’m thrilled to share this beautiful wedding day with you today! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Cantrell!! We love y’all!
