Brooke and David, Chestnut Ridge, Asheville Wedding

After a two month hiatus of blogging, I decided it was time to start sharing all of the beautiful weddings we’ve been working on this summer! The truth is, I don’t LOVE writing. It’s not something that comes naturally to me. I want to give my clients the PERFECT post that describes them and their wedding to the level it deserves… but I’ve got to put that behind me or I’ll never post anything! So this is Brooke and David. They are incredibly kind, loving, passionate and sincere. They had one of the sweetest weddings I’ve witnessed all year. It was clear to me (and everyone) that these two were destined to be together and that they’ve both waited and prayed for each other for a long time. Their ceremony had everyone in tears as David’s reaction to Brook was priceless (and they did a First Look!! — proof that a First Look doesn’t take away the emotion)… and I personally loved seeing Brooke and David worship together during the ceremony along with their friends and family. The evening followed with heartfelt toasts by their siblings and lots of dancing. Their nieces and nephews especially kept the dance floor hot! Brooke and David exited the building to fireworks and everyone’s well wishes! It was such a joy to capture this wedding – we are always so honored when couples invite us to capture thier wedding day… but honestly — it’s so much more than that. It’s being invited into their lives. Meeting their friends and family, hearing stories about their childhood and never wanting the day to end. Thank you Jesus for social media because I always miss the couples after their wedding day! We love following along on their journeys together post wedding day!
