Jack and Ellen were married on NEW YEARS EVE! What an awesome day to get married and celebrate with all of your friends and family. I have to say, this wedding was one for the books! Jack and Ellen are incredible and were the BEST couple to work with for my first wedding post baby. Y’all, it was HARD to leave my little man for the first time – BUT I quickly learned how much I needed a little break to do what I LOVE. Plus, Sunday consisted of extra cuddling! The moment I stepped into the bridal suite and saw Ellen and her sweet bridesmaids, I was so ready to get to work! I truly love this job and I’m grateful it allows me to spend as much time with my boy as it does. As I walked into the bridal suite at Market Hall everything was spotless, so clean and organized. This is how you know your bride read their Bridal Guide I sent them ;). Ellen is the most organized, on top of it Bride and I adore her for it! All of her details were neatly arranged and ready to be photographed. All of the Bridesmaids were ready and lets just say the entire day was flawless + perfectly on time. How does that even happen? It also helps they had an amazing planner, Jessica from Happily Ever After!
Coming out of my blogging hiatus to share some behind the scenes from 2016! This is always one of my favorite posts! I love reflecting back on the year and getting lots of laughs from the collection of photos we’ve saved over the year just for this post! This year was especially fun because it was a year of a growing baby and bump!! Whew, I almost forgot how big that belly of mine got! haha. So, this is us, putting aside our pride and allowing you to come see what life is really like for us at weddings! We leave the house trying to look our best, but those long wedding days – especially in the summer – leave us a hot mess!
I’ve dreamed of turning this room (or any room) into a nursery for our first baby and here we are! I’ve always loved neutral colors and that didn’t change for this room. As my Mama says, “little boys can’t keep white clean!” – oops! Here’s to hoping we keep this room decently clean and surely he can’t mess it up too much the first few months ;). We bought our first house in September 2015 and I’ve LOVED making it a home for us. I absolutely love to decorate and nest! Even before we were pregnant – nesting was my jam!! Most rooms came pretty easy for me but this room was so difficult. I wanted it to be perfect and had the hardest time making decisions.
Ariel and Brett are seriously two of the kindest, most sincere people we’ve worked with! They are full of joy and easy going – not even their wedding stressed them out! It was a beautiful day and the first wedding that truly felt like Fall for us! They were married at the Brier Creek Country Club, which is one of our favorite venues – mainly because it’s so close to our house and Chic-fil-a is on the way! We sort of started a tradition this year of Chic-fil-a before every wedding, ha! But seriously. We eat more Chicken ;)!! After our lunch stop we headed to the Country Club to tackle Ariel and Brett’s beautiful day! We all met in the bridal suite where Ariel had all of her details together for me (the best!) – I think my favorite detail was her sparkly Kate Spade shoes!! All the heart eyes! I also loved the pops of blue she had throughout her wedding, so pretty!!
Oz and Alexia’s wedding day at Henderson Country Club was such a magical day! I loved capturing their beautiful wedding and how all of the details all came together! It was such a joy to see these two so happy as they enjoyed the day with close family and friends! They are loved by so many! They have two beautiful children that made the day even sweeter. Seeing the look on their faces as they watched their Mommy twirl around in her wedding dress was priceless. They were so excited to see her – giving her lots of hugs and kisses!! Making for the cutest photos!
