I met Sara and Tyler at the NC Arboretum bright and early Sunday morning to make the most of the gorgeous sunrise. I love it when I photograph other photographers because they always understand the value in shooting at crazy hours, thanks Sara :)! Then there is the husband who is so kind to do whatever to make his sweet bride happy ;), thanks Tyler! I remember one conversation from that chilly morning so clearly. It went something like this:
Amber: “It’s actually not THAT cold outside.”
Sara: “It’s really not!”
Tyler (with the most confused look): “What do you mean? It’s freezing! (girls laugh) No, seriously, it is literally freezing – it is 32 degrees outside!”
hehehe!! Ahhh moments like these make me laugh. I love this couple and their sweet relationship. Tyler is always making Sara laugh and she truly adores him. High school sweethearts are always precious but I’m a little partial to the Lance’s. They are full of joy and a pleasure to be around! I met Sara for the first time (officially) to discuss her wedding plans at Edna’s coffee shop. She hired me to capture their wedding day and we’ve been great friends ever since. I never would’ve imagined almost two years ago that our business relationship would grow into a special friendship. I truly love that I get to meet new people like Sara every month. It is a joy to work with such incredible, kind and loving people. I am so blesssed!!
Sara and Tyler looked like they walked out of a J.Crew magazine. Sara wore the most adorable tulle skirt and rocked it with some coral wedges and a chambray shirt. Although it was (in the words of Tyler) freezing, you would’ve never known if I didn’t tell you! Spring portraits make me happy. I am so thankful warmer weather has arrived and wedding season has officially started!
